Stories of despair heard at 7/7 inquest
More deatils of the attack at Aldgate Tube station have emerged as the inquiry into the 7 July bombings continued in London.
Coroner Lady Justice Hallett praised the actions of commuter Colin Pettet, who stayed behind to tend to the injured.
One of those he helped was banker Philip Duckworth. He was standing so close to Shahzad Tanweer when he detonated his device that he was blinded in one eye by a fragment of one of the bomber's bones.
