Man jailed for making and selling Tracey Emin fakes
A man who forged art works by Tracey Emin and sold them on the internet auction site eBay has been jailed for 16 months.
Jonathan Rayfern, 32, was jailed by a judge at Manchester Crown Court after he admitted 10 counts of fraud and one of deception.
The former art student at Westminster University had worked alongside Emin for two weeks at her London gallery.
Speaking to the BBC's Nick Ravenscroft outside court, Det Con Ian Lawson of the Metropolitan Police said Rayfern managed to convince the buyers the items were genuine.
