Teach First graduate: 'First lesson was a disaster'

Schools that employ high-flying graduate teachers through government-backed educational charity, Teach First, see improved exam results, research has suggested.

Researchers from Manchester University found that schools with Teach First teachers had seen pupils boost their grades by a third of a GCSE in every subject they study.

Teach First graduate Charlotte Fox told BBC Breakfast that starting teaching after just six weeks training was a daunting task.
