Campsite flood rescue exercise tests services

Fire, police, coastguards and RNLI teams staged a rescue from a flooded campsite near Fleet in Hampshire. The Hawley Lake exercise was designed to test their response to flooding.

The exercise comes in the wake of information from the National Flood Forum which says plans to cut the budget for flood defences in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will leave many communities vulnerable.

The BBC's David Shukman reports.
