Merlin helicopters in Afghanistan 'proving their worth'

It is exactly a year since the UK sent a fleet of Merlin support helicopters to Afghanistan to help soldiers and supplies move quickly through rough terrain.

Previously deployed in Iraq, in Helmand they must fly in much higher and hotter conditions, requiring extra training to deal with the stresses that puts on the craft.
