Snow causes disruption in south and south-east

Fresh snow and freezing conditions are causing another day of disruption across much of the UK.

Problems are continuing in northern Britain, but the worst of the wintry conditions are now being experienced in the south and the east of England.

The Transport Secretary, Phillip Hammond, blamed "very extreme weather" conditions for causing travel disruption.

As Robert Hall reports from the skies above Kent, train companies there are struggling to keep their services running.
