BBC's Brian Hanrahan dies at 61

One of the BBC's most experienced correspondents, Brian Hanrahan, has died after a short illness. He was 61.

He reported on the Tiananmen Square massacre in China and the fall of the Berlin Wall. He is perhaps best known for his broadcasts during the Falkands War in 1982, when he coined the phrase "I counted them all out, and I counted them all back" to describe the movement of Harrier jets.

Humphrey Hawksley looks back at his life.
