Axing flu campaign was 'serious misjudgement'

The number of people who are critically ill in hospital with flu in England has risen sharply over the past week and the number of people receiving vaccinations is down compared to the previous two years.

The shadow health secretary, John Healey, explained why he considered the lack of an autumn flu vaccination campaign to be "a serious misjudgement".
