Crispin Blunt on 'unprecedented' riot at Ford open prison
Prisons Minister Crispin Blunt has said he expects criminal charges to be brought against rioters who burnt down large parts of Ford open prison in West Sussex.
Speaking after a visit to the jail, Mr Blunt described the events as ''unprecedented'' and said lessons had to be learned.
The trouble broke out when officers tried to breathalyse some prisoners on New Year's Eve.
