Former Home Secretary criticised for sex abuse comments
The former Labour Home Secretary, Jack Straw, has been criticised for suggesting some young men of Pakistani origin regard white girls as easy targets for sexual abuse.
Mr Straw spoke of his concerns after the jailing of a mainly Asian gang who raped a number of girls in the Derby area.
The Labour MP, Keith Vaz, told the BBC Mr Straw had been wrong to suggest the problem was a cultural one and he said the paramount aim was to stamp such crimes out.
