New Zealand quake: Peter Symms praised his rescuers
A British man who survived an earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, has praised the "brave men" who rescued him and his wife.
Peter Symms, a retired lecturer from the Scottish Borders, was in a cinema when the 6.3-magnitude quake hit on 22 February.
Speaking from his hospital bed, Mr Symms described the moment his wife escaped the collapsed building and went for help.
