Radiation fears spread as Fukushima workers battle leak

Workers at Japan's quake-hit Fukushima nuclear plant are trying to prevent radioactive water from seeping into the sea.

The country's Prime Minister, Naoto Kan, said his government was on maximum alert.

It comes as officials confirmed today that tiny traces of radioactive iodine have been detected as far afield as Glasgow.
