Royal wedding: Muslim group and EDL apply to protest

Scotland Yard has revealed details of security arrangements for the royal wedding. It has rejected an application by a Muslim group to stage a demonstration outside Westminster Abbey on the day of the wedding.

There will be 5,000 officers on duty for the event.

It has also been revealed that Kate Middleton's family has had a coat of arms designed, which will feature on a souvenir royal wedding programme.

The BBC's royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell reports.
