Met Police will 'not tolerate' royal wedding disruptions

The Metropolitan Police says it will act robustly against anyone who tries to disrupt the royal wedding on Friday.

Senior officers say they are doing everything they can to ensure that Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding is a "safe, secure and happy event" for everyone.

People intending to line the route are being urged to plan their day properly, keep an eye on personal belongings and be alert to anything suspicious.

Commander Christine Jones said they will be prepared for all eventualities.
