Rally in support of government cuts due in London

A rally is due to take place in London in favour of government cuts, in response to the TUC protests in March.

Among those attending the protest are members of the Taxpayers' Alliance and the UK Independence Party (UKIP) who plan to show that the country's debt needs to be reduced.

Matthew Sinclair, the director of the Taxpayers' Alliance told the BBC the cuts were necessary because "we can't go on borrowing at the rate we are".
