Electric bike hire scheme launches in the Peak District

A bike hire scheme with a difference is hoping to attract more visitors to the Peak District, including those who may think they are too unfit to enjoy cycling.

The electric bicycles are fitted with batteries which last for around 40 miles, to take the effort out of the region's hills.

Local businesses offer hire and charge points, giving visitors the chance to recharge themselves and their bikes.
