Strikes: Picket line officially underway

As strikes begin across the country teaching staff at Waingels College in Reading officially join the picket line.

Speaking to the BBC National Union of Teachers representative Kevin Price said "We don't think these changes to our pensions are fair, we've already made changes to our pensions in the past,"

Hundreds of thousands of teachers and civil servants are taking industrial action in protest at government plans to change their pension schemes.
