Kate's wedding dress on display at Buckingham Palace

The Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress, designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, is to go on display at Buckingham Palace on Saturday.

The dress will be in the palace's ballroom from 23 July to 3 October during its annual summer opening.

Curator Caroline de Guitaut explained why the detail of the design made the dress so spectacular.
