Somalis in the UK help to raise funds for famine

The UN is warning that the food crisis that has gripped East Africa is intensifying and as many as 12 million people are now in desperate need of help.

In Somalia there are very real fears the famine could spread despite recent heavy rains.

Members of the Somali community here in the UK have been particularly active in raising funds to help the victims.
