Croydon store pulled down after riot fire damage

The furniture store in south London which has become a poignant symbol of the rioting over the last few days, has been pulled down after more than 140 years.

The Reeves Brothers family business in Croydon, which survived the bombings of World War Two, was burnt to the ground on Monday.

It took less than an hour for the store to be destroyed by the fire.
