Libya: Gaddafi must 'face justice' says UK representative

A convoy of Libyan armoured vehicles are reported to have crossed the country's southern border into the African state of Niger.

It is thought the convoy, which has arrived in the desert town of Agadez, includes mercenary soldiers who fought for Col Muammar Gaddafi. Meanwhile, the Libyan National Transitional Council are continuing to consolidate their hold over the country.

UK Special Representative to Libya Dominic Asquith told the BBC's Jeremy Bowen he was sure the Libyan people would want to bring the fugitive leader of Libya to justice.
