24 men free after 'slavery' raid

Twenty four men, all believed to be victims of slavery, have been rescued from a travellers' site in Bedfordshire.

Police, who raided the site in Leighton Buzzard, say many of the victims were malnourished and living in filthy, cramped conditions.

It is thought some had been kept against their will for up to 15 years.

Anthony Bartram reports.
