Gangs: Children are 'controlled and threatened'

A major investigation begins today into the plight of thousands of children being sexually exploited by gangs across England.

Current estimates say up to 10,000 children could be affected by the sexual abuse, but it is feared the true figure could be much higher.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Sue Berelowitz, Deputy Children's Commissioner for England said, "They are being controlled and threatened in a way that is really quite shocking."
