RAF tornados return after Libya missions

British war planes have begun arriving in the UK after Nato confirmed the end of operations in Libya.

Six RAF tornados left their base in southern Italy on Friday and the other ten should be back in the coming weeks.

Since their mission started in March, British aircraft have flown more than 3,000 sorties and struck more than 600 targets.

Flight Lieutenant James Boning said it will be good to get home.
