Nephew discovered his uncle was a WWII flying ace

This Friday is Remembrance Day when the country honours the memory of those who lost their lives in conflicts including the two world wars.

Edward Lambath-Stoate, from South Gloucestershire, has only recently uncovered the bravery of his uncle, Roy Hussey.

Details of his extraordinary life were found in a tin box.

It emerged that Roy was a top flying ace during WWII who was involved in more than 500 hours of combat flying.

He even lied about his age so that he could fly Spitfires.

Tracey Miller reports.
