UK's longest cave system linked

Britain's longest network of underground caves, between Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire, has been linked up after years of hard work.

Volunteer cavers have spent the past year widening the final metres of natural passageway connecting the 70-mile-long system of caverns.
