Lynette White trial collapses

The trial has collapsed of eight former police officers who were charged over the wrongful conviction of three men for the murder of Cardiff prostitute Lynette White.

The ex-police officers denied conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Two other people denied perjury.

The case at Swansea Crown Court began in July and was twice halted to discharge a jury member.
