Hugh Robertson pledges extra £41m for Olympics show

The government has announced it will give an extra £41m towards the cost of opening and closing ceremonies for next year's Olympic and Paralympic games in London.

There will also be extra public money made available to pay for increased security around the events.

Sports Minister Hugh Robertson said it was vital for Britain to make the most of the opportunities presented by the Games.
