Do wind farms increase energy bills?

Claims that investment in windfarms and low carbon technologies will dramatically increase household bills are untrue, according to independent energy advisers.

The Committee on Climate Change says any rises over the next 10 years can be offset if there is further improvement in energy efficient lighting and appliances.
