Former NoW editor Colin Myler: Press should drop rivalry
Former News of the World editor Colin Myler told the Leveson Inquiry into media ethics that newspapers should drop their commercial rivalry and use their "collective brain power" to face the problems in the industry.
Mr Myler took over running the paper in January 2007, after royal editor Clive Goodman and private investigator Glenn Mulcaire were jailed for illegally accessing the voicemails of royal aides.
