Charity shops see gift sales rise

Almost 40% of shoppers are expected to buy at least one present from a charity shop this year, according to a survey.

The charity retail association, which represents some 7,000 shops in the UK, estimates a 7% increase in gift sales this Christmas compared to previous years.
