Duke of Edinburgh 'not the sort to give up easily'
The Duke of Edinburgh has had surgery to correct a blocked coronary artery after complaining of chest pains, Buckingham Palace has said.
Prince Philip was taken from Sandringham to Papworth Hospital for tests, and has been successfully treated by a "minimally invasive" procedure known as coronary stenting.
Royal historian Robert Lacey told the BBC the Prince is "remarkably fit... he's not the sort of man who likes to give up easily."
