Dr Rowan Williams calls for youth 'understanding'

The Archbishop of Canterbury has used his new year message to urge people not to give up on the younger generation, despite last summer's riots in the UK.

Dr Rowan Williams said only a tiny minority of young people took part in the violence and most shared the general dismay over what was happening.
