Can a standard English accent improve job prospects?

Graduates and young people are turning to elocution classes to improve their job prospects.

One provider saw people from the West Midlands being the most worried about their Birmingham or Black Country accents.

Dr Bernard Lamb from the Queen's English Society told Radio 5 live Your Call that people need to adapt their accents to get somewhere in life.
