Cotswolds 'big cat': No DNA evidence

No evidence has been found to suggest two roe deer found dead in Gloucestershire were killed by big cats, scientists say.

The National Trust commissioned Warwick University to carry out DNA tests on the carcasses after several reports of a panther-like creature in the area.

But scientists say they found DNA relating only to foxes and deer in the 45 samples taken.

Jon Kay reports.
