Justice committee MPs call for new 'presumed dead' law

Relatives of missing people are hoping proposed changes to the law could make it easier to clear up their loved ones' financial affairs.

MPs on the Commons Justice Select Committee say the Ministry of Justice should legislate for a single certificate declaring someone "presumed dead".
