Bolton Wanderers fans have gathered outside the club to show support for Fabrice Muamba, who collapsed during the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Tottenham.

The 23-year-old midfielder is being treated in the intensive care unit of the heart attack centre at the London Chest Hospital.

A joint statement from Bolton and the hospital released at 2130 GMT on Saturday described him as being in a "critically ill condition".
