£35m project to explore the Mary Rose and her crew

The Mary Rose, the flagship of Henry VIII's navy, was one of the most famous ships in the world. The ship sank, with loss of 700 men, during a battle near Portsmouth in 1545.

A complex salvage operation brought her to the surface in 1982.

Now a £35m project will tell us even more about the ship, and her crew.
