UK Weather: Snow causes chaos after spring sunshine

Heavy snow and storm force winds are causing disruption across large parts of the UK.

Drivers in some areas were warned to take care as up to 20cm (8in) of snow fell causing treacherous conditions.

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for part of the north of England and the Midlands.
