Hannah Jones: Funding research into brain tumours

A teenager from Lancashire has raised more than £160,000 for research into brain tumours - and defied the doctors who said she would never make it to university.

Hannah Jones was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged 15. It was later discovered the tumour was cancerous.

Since then, the 19-year-old has launched her own charity to raise awareness and funds by selling "Hannah's Hoodies".

Ellie Crisell reports.

The Rotary Young Citizen Awards will be presented on the BBC News Channel at 11.30am on Saturday 14 April.
