Celebrities join marathon thousands

Famous faces from the worlds of entertainment, news and sport are among the 37,500 fun runners, amateur and elite athletes taking part in the London Marathon.

Celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsey and Michel Roux Jr, as well as BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth, singer Will Young and Olympian James Cracknell are all veteran runners of the 26-mile race.

Here they tell the BBC's Sophie Hutchinson about the charities they are running for and beating their personal bests.
