Rupert Murdoch at Leveson Inquiry: I do not have an aura

Rupert Murdoch has said he does not think he has "any aura" or charisma which influences the decisions made by editors at his newspapers.

Asked whether he agreed with Sir Harold Evans's analysis of him as using "charismatic authority" rather than direct instruction, Mr Murdoch said he tries to set an example of ethical behaviour and makes it "quite clear" that he expects it.
