Tornado whips through Kidlington, Oxfordshire

A tornado has been reported in parts of Oxfordshire during a storm which caused damage to trees and roof tiles on Monday.

Met Office forecaster Dan Grey said tornadoes were not an unusual occurrence in the UK.

Pablo Gomez managed to capture footage of the distant twister from Upper Inglesham in Wiltshire.

Dave Ewart filmed the tornado from Kidlington in Oxfordshire.
