Vidal Sassoon 'the most iconic hairdresser' says Nicky Clarke

British-born celebrity hair stylist Vidal Sassoon - who revolutionised haircuts in the 1960s - has died at his home in Los Angeles, aged 84, police say.

Celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke paid tribute to "iconic" Vidal Sassoon, describing him as "the most iconic hairdresser".

Mr Clarke also told Newsnight's Jeremy Paxman that he was "such a lovely man".
