Leveson Inquiry: MPs 'targeted by tabloids'
"About a dozen" MPs have told Tom Watson they have been unfairly targeted by tabloid papers, the Labour deputy chairman has told the Leveson Inquiry.
They feared "ridicule and humiliation over their private lives or political mistakes", the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee member added.
He said he had urged other MPs to give their accounts to the inquiry.
Mr Watson has been an outspoken critic of News International over the phone-hacking scandal.
