Final checks for Thames Diamond Jubilee pageant

Final preparations are underway for Sunday's pageant on the Thames, marking the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Celebrations began on Saturday with a 41 gun salute at the Tower of London, and at other points around the UK.

Specialist police have been conducting searches of London's bridges ahead of the pageant, in which 1,000 boats are expected to take part.
