Queen visits Duke in hospital

The Queen and Prince Andrew have visited the Duke of Edinburgh at King Edward VII Hospital where he is being treated for a bladder infection.

Earlier, Buckingham Palace said his condition had "improved considerably" but he was likely to stay in hospital for the next few days.

Prince Philip, 90, has spent two nights in hospital, missing the end of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said the duke was in "good spirits".

BBC correspondent Sangita Myska reports from outside King Edward VII Hospital in London.
