Students winched from flooded caravan in west Wales

Two students have spoken of their lucky escape, after severe flooding trapped them in their caravan in west Wales.

Emily Nickless and Leigh-Anne Wharton had to be winched from the caravan they were staying in by RAF helicopter crew.

The A-Levels students had gone away for the night to concentrate on study, and their revision notes ended up floating away.

They spoke of their relief at being rescued.
