Fire officers push for sprinklers in new homes

Smoke alarms can save lives but chief fire officers say if sprinklers were used as well, the number of fire deaths in the UK would be reduced dramatically.

Chief fire officers are campaigning to get sprinkler systems fitted in all new homes after the deaths of six children in a house fire in Derby last month.
