Titanic letter returned to Belfast, 100 years after being sent

One of the last letters written on board the doomed liner Titanic has been returned to Belfast - one hundred years after it was first sent.

It was written by one of the ship's surgeons, Dr John Simpson, to his mother at their family home.

The long-lost letter recently turned up in America, but was sold at auction in New York for £25,000 and has now been brought back to Belfast.

Mark Simpson - a descendent of Dr John Simpson - reports.
